Production

The VK Nyrmav was designed and built during the 2nd TMIU War by the 7th Gezan Arms Division. The weapon was made to fill the Dictator’s request for an easily produceable, standard issue SMG. The VK Nyrmav was produced at the Nyrmav Weapon Production Center and barrowed the design of a horizontal fore grip from the Trumpland made Martez SPRG. The first version of the VK Nyrmav lacked the small perforated barrel cover of the final version and used a full stock unlike the final version’s pistol grip and stock. This prototype was dubbed the Nyrmav Experimental, 1200 were produced and distributed to Gezan troops. A week later the final version of the gun was developed and adopted.

The Gezan Government donated 400 models to the Noritlian Military near the end of the 2nd TMIU War. Noritly began producing its own models shortly after.

Service

The VK Nyrmav first saw action in the 2nd TMIU War during the Huruaki Offensive. The weapon became known among Gezan soldiers for its reliability even in harsh conditions. It soon became the most commonly produced Gezan SMG with 1.1 million having been produced by the start of the 3rd TMIU War. As of September 2018 it remains the most common stand issue weapon for Gezan Assault units.
