Overview

The New Chinese Militia is a citizen militia of New China and is an official branch of the New Chinese Military. The Militia is active even when New China is not at war and is allowed some autonomy from the New Chinese Military, though they must answer to direct military commands. The Militia consists of 540,000 troops and receives funding and supplies from the New Chinese Government. As of February 2019 their leader is Jiko Min.

Weapons

The New Chinese Militia primarily uses New Chinese weapons (see the New China section here) supplied by the New Chinese Military. The Militia also often makes use of captured enemy weapons and weapons acquired from allies on the field, with Trumpland and Gezan weapons being the most commonly used foreign weapons.

Origins

The New Chinese Militia was first formed shortly after the start of the 1st TMIU War when the Prime Minister of New China announced that the nation would not be joining the war. Many New Chinese citizens disagreed with this decision, wanting instead to fight with the IU against Trumpland. Shortly after Jiko Min began gathering citizens to form a militia to aid the IU in the war, gaining the support of 4,600 as well as a variety of supplies. Jiko dubbed the group the New Chinese Militia and used boats donated by sympathizers to reach Snowstar and begin a guerrilla campaign against Trumpland forces.

The Flag

The flag of the New Chinese Militia is a gold saltire on a red background. Its symbols are as follows.
Red: Communism
Gold Saltire: The Militia's defense
